Terms and Conditions for Gig Harbor Self Defense Training

1. Acceptance of Terms:
By accessing and using the website of Gig Harbor Self Defense Training, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2. Payment and Cancellation Policy:
– 2.1 Payment: Payment for classes is due at the time of registration.
– 2.2 Cancellation:
– Full refund if cancellation is made 48 hours before the scheduled class begins (for public classes. For private groups and businesses, cancellation must be made within 30 days of event for full refund).
– No refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled public class start time, or within 30 days of a private or business event.
– No refund and no class transfer options for no-shows or cancellations made at or after the class begins.
3. Class Transfers:
In cases where a cancellation is not eligible for a refund (ex: cancellations made within 48 hours of class beginning only), participants have the option to transfer their registration to another class offered by Gig Harbor Self Defense Training.
4. Class Modifications:
Gig Harbor Self Defense Training reserves the right to modify or cancel classes, change instructors, change locations, or adjust the schedule due to unforeseen circumstances. Participants will be notified in advance, and alternative arrangements will be offered.
5. Code of Conduct:
Participants are expected to adhere to a code of conduct that promotes a safe and respectful learning environment. Any disruptive behavior may result in removal from the class without a refund.
6. Copyright and Use of Materials:
All materials provided during classes, including but not limited to instructional content, videos, and handouts, are the property of Gig Harbor Self Defense Training and are protected by copyright. Participants agree not to reproduce, distribute, or use these materials for commercial purposes without written permission.
7. Limitation of Liability:
Gig Harbor Self Defense Training is not liable for any injuries or damages that may occur during or as a result of participation in our classes. Participants engage at their own risk, and it is their responsibility to ensure they are physically capable of participating.
8. Privacy Policy:

9. Governing Law:
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Gig Harbor, WA. Any disputes arising from these terms will be exclusively subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Gig Harbor, WA.
